Manage online orders in D-Store POS

Receiving online orders can boost your sales from multiple channels. D-Store POS enables you to manage online orders that are placed on different delivery platforms, such as GrabFood and Foodpanda. This guide walks you through how to manage online orders in D-Store POS.

Before you begin

Before managing online orders in D-Store POS, ensure the following tasks are completed:

  • Launch your online store or integrate with the third-party delivery platforms.

  • Set your device mode to either Online Order Terminal or All-in-One POS on D-Store Console. For more information, refer to the device mode. In the example below, the all-in-one POS mode is selected.

Manage online orders

Note:

When there is a new online order, a sound notification will be played. A numeric badge will appear in the top-right corner of the Orders tab, indicating the number of pending orders.

Check online orders

Take the following steps to check an online order:

  1. In D-Store POS, go to Orders.

  2. Tap the menu bar to check orders in different statuses:

    • Processing: Orders that are placed but not yet accepted or rejected.

    • Ready: Orders that are prepared and waiting for collection.

    • Canceled: Orders that are rejected or canceled.

    • Upcoming: Scheduled orders where the remaining available preparation time exceeds the limit you set in the D-Store Console. For more information on the preparation time settings, see Available Service Types.

    • Completed: Orders that have been collected and completed.

  3. Locate the order and tap it to view the order details.

Accept online orders

Take the following steps to accept an online order:

  1. Navigate to Orders > Processing in D-Store POS.

  2. Tap Accept or Confirm and Prep:

    • If you disable Auto Accept Order on D-Store Console, tap Accept, or tap the order and tap Accept on the Order Details page. For more information on the order acceptance settings, see Available Service Types.

    • If you enable Auto Accept Order on D-Store Console, tap Confirm and Prep, or tap the order and tap Confirm and Prep on the Order Details page. For more information on the order acceptance settings, see Available Service Types.

  3. When the meal is ready, tap Ready, or tap the order and tap Mark as Ready on the Order Details page.

  4. After the meal is collected by the customer, tap Mark as Collected, or tap the order and tap Mark as Collected on the Order Details page.

Reject or cancel online orders

If the order cannot be fulfilled, you need to reject or cancel the order based on its status.

Reject online orders

If you have not yet accepted, or confirmed and prepared the order, take the following steps to reject an online order:

  1. In D-Store POS, go to Orders.

  2. To locate the order:

    • If the order is not scheduled, or the non-auto-accept scheduled order's remaining available preparation time is less than the limit you have set on D-Store Console, tap Processing.

    • If the order is a non-auto-accept scheduled order, and its remaining available preparation time exceeds the limit you have set on D-Store Console, tap Upcoming.

    In the example below, Processing is tapped.

  3. Swipe left on the order and tap Reject, or tap the order and tap Reject Order on the Order Details page.

  4. Select a rejection reason and tap Confirm.

Cancel online orders

If you have already accepted the order, take the following steps to cancel an online order:

  1. In D-Store POS, go to Orders.

  2. To locate the order:

    • If the order is not a scheduled order, or if it is an auto-accept scheduled order with a preparation time of less than the limit you have set on D-Store Console and has not yet been marked as ready, tap Processing.

    • If the order has been marked as ready, tap Ready.

    • If the auto-accept scheduled order's remaining available preparation time exceeds the limit you have set on D-Store Console, tap Upcoming.

    In the example below, the order in Ready status is selected.

  3. Swipe left on the order and tap Cancel Order, or tap the order and tap Cancel Order on the Order Details page, and select a cancellation reason.

  4. Select a cancellation reason and tap Confirm.
