Process payments in D-Store POS

Updated over 11 months ago

This guide explains how to process various payment types using the D-Store POS app, including cash, card, and QR code payments.

About processing payments

The D-Store POS app offers versatile methods for processing payments. It is ideal for different food and beverage environments, providing support for cash, card, and QR code payments. You can select quick pay options on the Register page or explore detailed operations on the payment page.

How you process transactions depends on the following factors:

  • D-Store payment activation: For cashless payments, you must first activate D-Store Payment in your store to have these payment methods available in your D-Store POS app. For more information, refer to Activate payments.

  • External payments: If you use any payment solutions other than D-Store Payments, you can create non-integrated payment methods on D-Store Console to have these payment options show up in your D-Store POS app.

  • Payment timing: Your payment timing settings (Pay First or Pay Later) on D-Store Console affects how you enter the Payment page.

  • Hardware setup: Connect a cash drawer and a receipt printer for smoother handling of transactions.

  • Receipt settings: Configure how receipts are generated and printed, whether automated or when prompted.

Before you begin

Understand the payment page

The payment page manages transactions efficiently. It includes the following components:

  • Top of the page: Displays the total amount due for the order, keeping you informed of customer dues.

  • Left side of the page:

    • Input bar: Displays the received amount. By default, it displays the total amount due.

    • Calculator keys: It is used to enter the numerical value which the customers give you to modify the received amount.

  • Right side of the page: Payment methods for you to specify how the order is paid for. If you have more than 5 payment methods, tap More payment methods to view all the payment method buttons at once.
