D-Store payment security
The D-Store Payment app uses a two-layer security system to protect your business data and prevent unauthorized access:
Device Authentication: Each device registered in D-Store Console receives a unique device code and QR code. When logging in, staff must enter this device code and scan the QR code, ensuring only authorized devices can access your business data. Learn how to add payment terminals in D-Store Console.
User Authentication: After device verification, staff must enter their personal PIN code as the second security layer. Each PIN is associated with specific permissions set in D-Store Console, allowing you to control feature access by role and maintain a complete audit trail of all system activities. Obtain device code and QR code
Follow these steps to retrieve the device code and QR code from the D-Store Console to log in.
Open the D-Store Console and navigate to POS > Device.
Click Setup next to your store name.
Under Device, locate the desired device and retrieve the Device Code.
Beside the copy icon, click on the QR code icon to see the pop up below. Keep this page open for the next steps.
Obtain user PIN
Contact your store manager to obtain your user PIN. PINs are assigned when user roles are created. If you are the store manager, create user and their PIN following the steps below:
In D-Store Console, go to User Accounts.
Click Add > + Add User.
Enter the required details of the new user and edit the user PIN.
Click Save.
Log in to D-Store Payment
On your connected device, open the D-Store Payment Terminal Mobile App.
Enter the Device Code in the designated field.
3. Tap the Scan icon and scan the QR code displayed in the D-Store Console.
4. After successful device verification, you will be directed to the user login page. Select your username from the list of authorized users.
5. Enter your 6-digit user PIN.
