Update order status via QR code

This guide walks you through how to connect a QR code scanner to your D-Store POS system for updating the Order Ready Display (ORD).

Connect QR Code Scanner via USB Connection

  1. Find a USB slot on your POS machine and plug in your QR scanner.

  2. Check your Android settings under "Scanner & Keyboard" to ensure that the scanner is properly connected to your device.

Connect QR Code Scanner via Bluetooth Connection

  1. In your Android device, go to Connected devices and ensure your Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Click Pair new device, then find and connect your Bluetooth scanner with your Android device.

Print order status QR Code on customer receipt

  1. On D-Store POS, tap on the three horizontal lines icon on the bottom left > Hardware > Printer.

  2. Select the "Print order status QR code" option in the Receipt section. This will print a QR code on the customer receipt that can be:

    1. Scanned by a QR scanner to update and call out the order on the ORD.

    2. Scanned by a customer's mobile phone camera to view order status through a website link, allowing customers to track their orders independently.

Print order status QR Code on kitchen ticket

  1. On D-Store POS, tap on the three horizontal lines icon on the bottom left > Hardware > Printer.

  2. Select the Print order status QR code option in the Kitchen Ticket section.

This will print a QR code on the kitchen ticket. Kitchen staff can scan this QR code with the QR scanner to mark the order as ready and display it on the Order Ready Display. Example printout:
