If you select all-in-one POS mode on D-Store Console, refer to this guide to select an appropriate device install the app for the best performance of your business.

Select the appropriate device type

Evaluate whether you require a device for mobility or for fixed transaction points. Mobile phones, handheld POS terminals, and tablets offer excellent mobility for staff who are frequently on the move. Meanwhile, desktop POS terminals provide durability and robust functionality, making them ideal for high-volume transactions at static points of sale.

All the devices should meet the following essential requirements to function effectively with the D-Store POS app:

Operating system: The device must run on Android 11.0 or higher for compatibility.
Internet connectivity: A stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is necessary to process orders and payments, facilitating real-time communication with the cloud system for updates.
NFC capability: To accept tap-to-pay payments, the device should have NFC features, allowing transactions via contactless credit cards or mobile wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Google Mobile Services (GMS): Ensure your Android device includes GMS to access the necessary Google apps and services crucial for the proper functioning and updating of the D-Store POS app.
Bluetooth connectivity: If you plan to use peripherals such as wireless receipt and label printers, ensure your device has Bluetooth capability for seamless communication.
