Multi-language capability

Updated over 12 months ago

Display store names, product names, and member card names in buyers' preferred languages on their devices (apps or websites) by setting up multi-language fields on D-Store Console.

This guide explains the language display rules on the buyer's terminal and how to provide information in multiple languages on D-Store Console.

Language display rules in D-Store

The language displayed on a buyer's device depends on the buyer's language preference and the languages that you have set up on D-Store Console. buyer's language preference refers to the language set on their devices.

  • If the buyer's language preference is available, the displayed language on the buyer's device depends on your D-Store Console multi-language settings.

    • If the buyer's preferred language is set up on D-Store Console, that language is displayed.

      • If the buyer's preferred language is not set up on D-Store Console, the default language is displayed.

      • If the buyer's language preference is not available, the default language is displayed.

To provide information in such fields, adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Set a default language by entering the information directly in the desired language. This language is automatically set as the default for buyer devices.

  • It is recommended that you set the primary language of your store's location as the default language, so most buyers can use a familiar language.

  • Add information in other languages by clicking Add Language and selecting from the following language options:

    • English

    • 中文(简体)(Simplified Chinese)

    • 中文(繁體)(Traditional Chinese)

    • ภาษาไทย (Thai)

    • Melayu (Malay)
