Create, update, and go live with banners and pop-ups

To display your promotion tasks on the customer's end, you can create banners and pop-ups to promote them. This guide walks you through how to create, update, and go live with banners and pop-ups.

Before you begin

Before creating, updating, or going live with banners and pop-ups, ensure you have completed the following tasks:

  • Prepare the promotion assets.

  • Before linking a campaign to a banner or pop-up, create a campaign first, such as a promo code and voucher.

  • Before going live with a banner or pop-up, go live with a campaign first, such as issuing vouchers.

Create banners and pop-ups

Take the following steps to create a banner or pop-up:

  1. On D-Store Console, go to Online > Banner & Pop-up and click Create.

    To copy an existing campaign, click Copy and update the information accordingly.

  2. Select a template and click Create. In the example below, the Home & Menu Banner template is selected.

  3. Fill in the banner details. For more information on the fields, refer to Learn about banners and pop-ups configurations.

  4. Click Save as Draft.

Update existing banners and pop-ups

Take the following steps to update a banner or pop-up:

  1. On D-Store Console, go to Online > Banner & Pop-up.

  2. On the Banner & Pop-up page, select the template, locate the banner or pop-up, and click Edit under the Actions column. In the example below, the Home & Menu Banner template is selected.

  3. Update the banner settings, and click Save as Draft to save the edits.

Go live with banners and pop-ups

Take the following steps to go live with a banner or pop-up:

  1. On D-Store Console, go to Online > Banner & Pop-up.

  2. On the Banner & Pop-up page, click the template, locate the banner or pop-up, and click Go Live under the Actions column. In the example below, the Home & Menu Banner template is selected.

On the Banner & Pop-up page, D-Store provides five templates to cater to different promotion needs. In this section, you will learn about how to configure the fields associated with each template.

Home & Menu Banner

Basic Content

  • Task Name: This field specifies the name of the promotion task.

  • Image: Upload an image that is displayed in the banner.

  • Call To Action: This field specifies the action that is triggered after the customer interacts with your promotion task.

  • Conversion Tracking: Select a marketing campaign to track customer behavior following their interaction with it.

Display & Timing Settings

  • Display Priority: This field specifies the value of the task. Tasks are displayed based on priority, with higher values indicating greater visibility to customers.

  • Display Time: This field specifies the display time of the task. If you link a campaign, the time will be automatically filled in according to the validity of the campaign.

  • Advanced Settings:

    • Sales Channel: This field specifies the display sales channel of the task.

    • Display Frequency: This field specifies the display frequency of the task to prevent fatigue of customers.

Order Details Banner

Basic Content

  • Task Name: This field specifies the name of the promotion task.

  • Image: Upload an image that is displayed in the banner.

  • Call To Action: This field specifies the action that is triggered after the customer interacts with your promotion task.

Pop-up

Basic Content

  • Task Name: This field specifies the name of the promotion task.

  • Image: Upload an image that is displayed in the banner.

  • Trigger: This field specifies the trigger that prompts the next action of customers.

    • If you select Button:

      • Button Text: This field specifies the text displayed on the button.

      • Action on Click: This field specifies the result after the customer taps the button.

    • If you select Image:

      • Action on Click: This field specifies the result after the customer taps the image.

  • Conversion Tracking: Select a marketing campaign to track customer behavior following their interaction with it.

Promotion Bar

Basic Content

  • Task Name: This field specifies the name of the promotion task.

  • Promo Codes: This field specifies the promo code campaign linked to this task.

  • Text: This field specifies the text displayed in the promotion bar.

  • Conversion Tracking: Select a marketing campaign to track customer behavior following their interaction with it.

Note:

The campaign will be automatically filled in and cannot be edited if you have selected a promo code campaign in the Promo Codes field.
