The Tables section in D-Store POS allows you to create a digital representation of your dining space and organize it into different sections (for example, indoor and outdoor areas). This feature is essential for businesses that provide dine-in service with table settings, as it helps streamline orders, billing, and seating management.
In this document, you can learn how to manage the table settings of your store in D-Store Console or through the D-Store POS app.
On D-Store Console
On the D-Store Console, you can access the Tables section to manage all table-related settings. This includes:
Adding, editing, and managing tables and sections
Configuring table layouts and floor plans
Setting up QR codes for customer self-ordering
Manage floor plan
For better spatial management, you can manage the visual floor plan of your store through the D-Store Console once your tables have been set up. You can create or edit the table arrangement and sections in the floor plan through the Tables > Edit Floor Plan.
QR menu
D-Store provides you with the option to enhance your dine-in service by configuring QR codes for each table. You can configure and generate the table QR code through Online > QR Codes on D-Store Console.
The QR code can be printed and placed on tables, allowing customers to:
Scan the QR code with their mobile devices and access your online store menu
Place orders directly without staff assistance
Have orders automatically sent to your D-Store POS system
In the D-Store POS app
All tables created in the D-Store Console will appear in a grid view on the Tables tab in the D-Store POS app, which allows you to do the following:
Take orders for specific tables
Create checks for occupied tables
Track table status (vacant, occupied, order pending)
Process payments by table
For better spatial management, you can create a visual floor plan in the D-Store POS app once your tables have been set up.
The floor plan appears in a map view on the Tables tab in the D-Store POS app, giving your staff a visual representation of your dining space, making it easier to identify table locations and monitor their status at a glance.
